Not as great as Gone Girl but definitely a great read. A great writer. The book moves, the characters are great. The whole thing is creepy. I couldn't ever guess where she was going. She is great at expressing the psychological aspects of human interactions.
The only thing that nagged at me sometimes was that the scenes that took place in the eighties seemed contemporary. Several times I was jarred by the thought, "we didn't talk like that in the eighties. We didn't even have that word yet." But I can live with that if she'll keep writing these great books.
